osal_file_default_ops() specifications

Signature

const osal_file_ops_t *osal_file_default_ops(void);

Purpose

Return the default low-level OSAL file operations table for the active platform.

Success

• Returns a non-NULL pointer to an osal_file_ops_t.
• Returns an operations table suitable for the active platform.
• The returned operations table provides callable low-level OSAL file operations.

Failure

• This operation does not report failure.

Ownership

• Ownership of the returned operations table is not transferred to the caller.
• The caller must not attempt to destroy or modify the returned operations table.

Notes

• The returned table exposes the active platform implementation of the osal_file module.
• The returned table is intended to be used through the osal_file_ops_t contract.
• The callable operations exposed by the returned table include:
  • open
  • read
  • write
  • flush
  • close
